Scores are in for round one and based on the scores posted on MaxPreps.com, the top ten teams all beat their opponents by a combined score of 123-2. One word- Dog and Pony Show. Officials should know better and go straight to a consolation bracket. It turned out to be a huge waste of diesel fuel, not to mention the fuel parents spent getting across town.
I am still looking for a second round bracket but in the past there has been a neutral site like South Gate Park where teams from the valley travel 30 mile to play a school that is 2.5 mile from their campus. I realize this sounds whiney but nothing regarding the schedule it etched in stone. If it turns out Granada is to face Chatsworth, have them play at Brimingham. Gas prices are what they are and that's it.
